Above the cooker there is a vent -I am looking for a way of getting this assembly apart to clean it. On the roof there is a hood with 4 small protruding lugs-they do not push in as I had hoped.Does anyone know how this lot comes apart, and is there, perhaps, a charcoal filter or summat inside ?

Thanks,Mike

Don't know about yours on a van a friend had there where 4 screws holding it up inside the van, that had small covers over the screws, it was almost impossible to see them as they just looked like small circles moulded into the plastic. We got them out with a pointed piece of metal.

Quick dash to the van-not a screw or even a mark on the rim of the vent inside the van.

Hi Mike

Sorry tried! I can only think it screws from the top and it's a case of finding how to take that off, possibly easy when you know how.

I'm sure the secret is in those little lugs, but, they dont move at all and the vent cover feels as if it might crack if I try to pull it outwards to clear the lugs.
