Hi looking at doing a 7 day cruise out of and returning to Venice as part of a 3 week tour in July any ideas on secure parking for the camper for the 7 days its a Euramobil c class 6.6 m long 3 m high.Any suggestions welcome as not been to Italy by motorhome before.

Sorry can not help with the parking but what about insurance, most Motorhome policies only allow you to leave the vehicle untended for a maximum of 24/36 hours when away from home.

Good point in regard to the insurance will have to speak to them,anyone know if its poss to store motorhome on one of the campsites near venice.

In 2004 we parked at Tronchetto Parking - over the causeway and close to the embarkation point for the cruise ships - also an easy walk into the city.

The main car park is a muti story, but the road goes under it and to a wide coach / motorhome area right next to the lagoon, water, hook ups and waste disposal were included in the (high) price.

here are plenty of lovely campsites along the southern coast of lido de jesolo, which is a short ride by waterbus (vaporetto) into Venice especially from the western end. May be you can stay and leave your MH there.

It's blooming tricky parking in Venice, or it was when we last went there. The streets were just so full of water.
