As in the title, anyone replaced their indicator lamp bulbs with LEDs? running lamps, brake and tail lights etc and did you do it with out adding resistors etc?

Is it possible on a 2016 euro 5 peugeot? as a straight swapover? can you mix them ie just replace your tail lamps, leaving your head lamps as filament/halogens, etc

Any one have a good supplier? Links if possible

Thank you.

As long as you buy the ones with the built in resistors to fool the canbus they should be a straight swap. Most of the amber lights down the sides of even older motorhomes are LEDs anyway.

Finding good quality bulbs might be the biggest problem. Mrs DBK's car had DRLs with normal bulbs, when one blew I ordered a pair of LED replacements. They were only £7.50 a pair. :)
One failed after 6 weeks. :(
I've ordered another and see how long it lasts. The lesson I think is there are some bulbs of questionable quality out there.

That is a replacement for the whole light, not just a bulb. It won't replace existing lights unless they combine stop, tail and indicator all under one lens.

This is more the sort of thing I thought you meant

For some reason the site won't let me put in the link, but just look on Amazon for canbus led bulbs
