I have done something I NEVER do - and back-to-back hire a van out. A guy had someone wipe out his Caravan, so was in a pickle - and I had to help out, so van is going out 6 hours after it comes back from Glasto.

So I have been waiting in angst, having watched the mud etc. It arrived.... Spotless...well, the tyres a little muddy!

So I washed it off, and went inside to have a poke about - check my little spots, where even the most consciencous hirer would forget to clean. Behind the toilet, under the seat, hair in the shower tray, toilet cupboard...not a mark, spotless! In the cupboards, under the seats - spotless. AHha! I thought.... no under the mattress was clean as well.

I feel out-done! I have nothing to clean!:Eeek:

So a panic cleaning day turns out to be a put-your-feet-up day!:thumb:

Obviously you should only rent your MH to OCD, "Lady Macbeth" types.

Hope all the renters leave my gite that clean this year!!!

Usually people do leave them clean, but you know what its' like - you have your little spots that they always forget - but I was quite shocked.

You can PAY people to clean, and they don't do a job as good as that!:ROFLMAO:

I just went out and polished it for something to do - or else I will feel that I haven't done my job!

Ahh but there was a four hour queue waiting to get off the Glasto field, so at least it gave them something to do cleaning it. :thumb:

Probably no far from the truth - she did say it took them 6 hours to get IN!

They left early at 10pm on Sunday to avoid the queues....and the fact that she got home at 5.30 the following morning would suggest that quite a few thousand had the same idea!!:ROFLMAO:

Yes that is right, my niece sat for 4 hours before they even got out of the festival, in total it took them 10 hours to do 220 miles, wise place to avoid unless you are actually going, and still at my age I still want to go one day.

Why not? The lady that went this time was late fifties...and into bands I have never heard of! ....made me feel old...not as old as I did seeing some teenagers with comb-overs when shopping the other day, but thats another story.

Last year a chap of 69 went up wanting to see stevie wonder. That did nearly make him keel over getting to the stage, which he said was a four field, 2 mile hike! - Book early, you get the field next door!
