hi cant see a thread on this maybe someone could advise me please.

If i put van/starter battery on trickle charge would it keep the leisure battery charged

Or if i keep the leisure battery plugged in on mains ehu would this keep van battery/starter charged.

Leisure to engine.....If your van has been wired as such then yes.

Engine to leisure battery without engine running ... Very, very unlikely as it would still try to charge leisure even when no charge source available ensuring a flat engine battery

Both batteries are isolated from one another unless either the engine is running or a battery master or similar has been fitted.
Having said that some vans have a switch to connect both batteries for charging from hookup (but its generally one or the other and off). You need to check your manual for control panel details.
