8 years, but had caravans & Tents before that
OK that time of the year, used the van throughout the winter and looking
proper dog eared and grubby, 2 days ago thought got to get it cleaned up
nearly 4 Hrs spent just doing the roof, knackered and wet just lost the will
to carry on.

Wife says there is a new, wash - valeting place just down the road, was never going
to give in to getting cleaned up by anybody else but thought sod it and gave it a go.

Cost verries on size of job, so £40 later one spotless van, inside and out, big thank you
to the crew at "CAR WASH CITY" Bishops stoke Rd Eastleigh.
Just over the bridge going away from town.

If your in the area, and have a couple of hours spare to get cleaned up then give them
a go. Well worth the wait. :thumb::thumb:

more to the point....did they use fresh water.
Many of the eu (east european) carwashers use the same water for hours at a time.
Full of grit and muck and Guaranteed to scratch your paint and plastic windows.

If mine needs a quick wash and I don't have time I nip it down the road to the Polish lads £15 cash and they do a brilliant job. :thumb:

Did mine on Saturday at the local camping car shop (5 miles away) as he's just installed a Karcher Pro system with 2 large bays for campers and both supplied with ladders:Smile: Made the job a little easier although at £40 that's good value

i'm afraid i keep the pressure washers away from our van.
i have a large set of steps that allows me to stand safely level with the roof top and a soft caravan extendable brush and a normal hose pipe.:thumb:

definitely no water recovery systems in the east european car washes around these parts though i do suspect the disconnect the water meters
