Can anyone recommend a campsite handy for Valencia with a good bus/train connection to the city centre? We're not looking for an all singing and dancing place, just a three or four night break en route with basic facilities. Need it to be open Feb/March.

When we went to Valencia we stayed at Navajas, camping Altomira. Not very close to Valencia but in a quiet village with a train station with direct route that goes into Valencia.

It is in the mountains in a beautiful spot with views over the mountains, may not suit you if you like the coastal sites.

As already been said Bonterra Park is very good site the other campsite
is Azahar, in our opinion it is not as good as Bonterra you are some
distance from the shops and town.

Mon Mar at Moncofa is a basic site which takes ACSI. The majority of pitches are local resident permanently sited caravans.

The staff are friendly and helpful and the local village is walkable for supplies from two supermarkets.

The beach is just a few hundred yards away. Very peaceful out of season.

I liked the informal 'library' in the large room dedicated to laundry.

There is a railway station although it was suggested I drive to it rather than walk.
