Not enough!
Hi, currently in Tignes but have just found out next week is Varsity week (3,000) students all in Val a Claret = Time to leave!

The good thing is that they always used to go to Val Thoren until kicked out, so I'm now going to head there instead!

So, is there a site or aire close to any access lifts that is lower down the hill?

I've been told about an aire higher up by Tourist info, but it is literally a car park at the moment as no water / electric / facilities until Dec 14th, and after recent high altitude dramas regarding starting the van I'd like to stay lower down in the slightly warmer temps. Any advice anyone on a nice lower down pitch but with lift access?

Thank you and as always I'm very grateful for your advice.

Justin

Best to stop at Les Menuires matey!

Its the next village down from VT, the aire has electric and you are linked indirectly to VT by the lifts!:thumb:

Thank you

Thank you, that's brilliant news.

I'm going to try and resolve a few of the vans mechanical / starting issues in Bourg over Fri to Sun then I'll head up there on Monday.

Is it easy to find?

Thanks

Justin

It's destiny! My new plans are made.

Thanks

The aire is just on the edge of the village. It is on your left as you bypass Les Menuires en-route to VT.
Its a ski in, ski out location.:thumb:

Menuires is on my list for Jan 17th visit, never been before but rep at Ski snow show, showed Aire just past tortoller ski lift on left hand side. Further down valley Saint Martin De Belleville has large parking area, no facilities but public toilets nearby Ski pass ticket office and parking.:thumb:

Skied les menuires last year with the kids and Rory (forest boy) had a ball, skied it the year before too...

Only thing of note is its a huge resort, busy at half term althought there was space on the aire.

George managed to get lost and lose us so we had a decent look around looking for him....n

You can buy a pass that covers VT and LM Or the whole 3 valies or just LM.

Enjoy :thumb:
