hi experts,
Has anyone experience of the aire in VDE?

The camping app locates it down by La Daille, but it isn't and no overnighting is allowed in that car park.

My ski guide today says the aire is now towards the edge of the town Le Fornet side near the police station and I have seen UK MHs driving through.

Be interested in any experience as I fancy returning next year in the truck.

Cheers

Ps it's sunny and the snow is excellent today.

Pops shame one of our off piste party fell and dislocated her shoulder.

I know this is a late reply but I was in Val for a couple of days at easter. Gendarme kindly informed me there was nowhere for camping cars during the season, old aire was an ice racing track, camping out the other side of town towards Fornet is summer only but he said I could stay in the car park at la Daille as long as I wanted as it was the end of the season.
Stayed until loo was full then moved on.

Hope your guide was better at the mountain, table de orientation in face deep powder is a memory stuck firmly in my head as are many other great spots in that valley.

Last time I was in val. ( 2years) there was camping at Tigne le Lac which is linked with Val. and on the small car park next door to the Tourist info. at La Dialle.
