Finally.... we are taking our Frankia for its proving run on Wednesday!
we are going to Oxon park site at Shrewsbury, about 30 miles away.
It's a bit posh for me at 5 stars. I must admit i like the CL's but Dave is made up so HWMBO is happy!

It's next to the park and ride scheme to town and it has a good shop if we find things we need to fit in the van.
I was amazed. We can only get in for a few days. It is absolutely FULL over half term next week.
The stay- at- home- cation must have done wonders for English tourism this year!

Hi Lucille
Why not go down the road towards Shrewsbury to the Wingfield arms Link Removed, site at the rear WC, showers and EHUs to put any site to shame,bus stop outside to town and a good restaurant on site.
I have used the rally field for club meetings and found them obliging. It may be an idea if you want to extend your stay.
