Its raining in Sicily so spent the day looking at WiFi stuff.
The best hotspot locator I can find is Link Removed
and as long as you are not using Vista or Win7, this looks to be very useful: http://www.makayama.com/easywifiradar.html

the mouse 'roll over' written locations are useful but the map 'pushpins' are a waste of time.

at least three in my area are miles away.....one is 9 miles.....one is 12 and another is 13 miles from the stated map locations.

They seem to list McDonalds as not being free.

like all the other 'free hotspot finder' websites, they are only as good as the subscribing hotspot providers.

just the same as fuel station POI's on tomtom...thousands arent list as they dont subscribe to tomtom's listing.
