I can't connect via usb anymore, pulled the connector out last night and it felt a bit tight, later on I tried to put it back in and it only goes in partway, tried a couple of other connectors and they are all the same, so its the port on the motherboard.

Did a search on youtube and found a vid of how to replace it, seems fairly easy so I have ordered a new port of ebay for £7.99 and will have a go. The port has holding legs which are soldered to the board but the connections aren't, they just touch the board, so that part shouldn't be to hard. Getting the case apart is likely to be the hardest part, although there's a vid on there about how to do that, but brute force and bloody ignorance will likely win the day. :roflmto:

Seems to be a common problem as the ebay site had sold over 200 of the ports.
