Has anyone got any idea of costs for shipping a motorhome to the USA? I know that you can rent them over there but I am wondering if it might be cost effective, for a longer trip, to ship our Swift Lifestyle motorhome over & back.

We got a quote 3 months ago through Seabridge approx £2000.00 each way.
Southampton to Jacksonville on roro 2 sailings a month. That was for 5 tonne 7.7 metre tag axle.
We spent 3 years touring North America years ago so bought a RV then resold at the end.
If you're going for 3 months or more worth shipping. Remember the hire vehicles are much larger than our vans so difficult to compare like for like.
Hope this helps.(y)
