MY original post was about the Blues festival and other Funsters have passed on info about the MCC meeting in the same area plus the Steam Rally thus saving time looking for sites and money ,

Looks like we are going to Scotland maybe via lancashire, so might even go to the steam rally, how many funsters are going to it.

1st day out the way and what a great time this is defo a must for next year met tinker and his lovely wife yesterday we are near the showers camped up with old friends tibs and yesterday i must say was the best way to celebrate a birthday music in all the inns and the street and great music at that raining at moment but so what it will be gone in about a hours so bring on the music again Broken Link RemovedBroken Link Removed

We'd intended to go to Upton, but builders coming to do surveys, etc. put the mockers on it.
Hope the weather has been kinder than it was here last night.

Storms overnight Thursday and Friday and wet Saturday morning until mid-afternoon. Otherwise hot and sunny. We've been to Upton before but this is the first time we've been to the festival. Strange to be able to carry beer round the streets but refreshing that the pubs don't take the opportunity to over charge. Moving on today to a pub site on the Welland road for a few days before the Steam Fair next weekend.
