I'm a newbie
Hi there, I like many my age are restricted to 3500kg. i have been looking at some vans and they come out at 3300kg with a payload around 450kg!

My question is can it up-rated to 3500kg and if it can does it mean I've got an extra 200kg payload?

Cheers

Some can, some cant....
Seeing 3300kg makes me think it's an older vehicle so chassis may be limited in some way (correct me if wrong).
Some vans can be up-plated and it's only a paperwork exercise but you need to find some original specification on the chassis or even ask the converter.. There are specialist firms like SV Tech who cant provide the answers and if possible authorise the upgrade, for a fee.

In answer to the extra 200kg :) Give you that extra and as long as you dont go over that weight you are legal..
