Hi Larry, Its a bit like London Congestion charge but cheaper............

In the City and some Towns, they have Low Emission Zones. And its a 40 euro fine if you are caught without it.

you're definately the master of understatement Bob

just 5 euro for ,i believe, a whole year or is it a 'once only' payment for the life of the vehicle?

When we changed van's, although we kept the same reg, we thought sod the expense and got a new sticker............. Bob.

This is well worth doing before you go,we were in Germany in February and could not source the sticker without going into the towns as you had to buy it from a large Town Hall or a Main Dealer type garage.We ended up touring the Ski resorts and avoiding the main towns.Although they did give you plenty of notice before you enered the NO GO areas
