If you are considering the Nordcap route, its nothing but a tourist trap, with tourist prices. There are far more scenic routes going up than the Nordcap route.

Ahh, you got me there! But if you want to get to the Cape it is the only road

If you mean it's a rip off at the the end then yes I agree with you fully

How did you manage with fresh water and emptying the WC?

Many of the fuel stations and ferry piers have fresh water and toilet drops. We don't use chemicals so we also used the 'long drop' toilets that are virtually everywhere. The tourist offices have lists of places where you can do this too.

Well thanks guys I have been pushing Elaine for 2 months to do this run next year around early July 2015 start and after reading some of wolfys blogg she had said yes
Now all I need to do is convince her the best way home is down through Germany Switzerland Southern Italy ferry to morroco spain france home by end of July (2016)
