Still getting van ready for first trip away since Denise was taken ill. While cleaning bodywork noticed one tyre had signs of the side wall cracking. Tyre did not look very old but I realise they can go down hill while parked up ( try and make sense of that please) Wrote down all that it said on tyre and went to our local Formula One for a quote. They said that they do not stock this particular tyre and could not advise me of what might do the job! Suggested I should look on EBAY but not that easy when you do not know what you are looking for. Anybody knowledgeable on tyres can advise if I cannot get "VANCO 215 R 14C 112 110VP" what would be a safe replacement? Apologies fr my ignorance once again.

Used these, they were brilliant, totally professional and come to you to do the fitting :)

I fitted Michelin Agilis, my life, my motorhome and peace of mind were worth it. They do all brands and have a discount on too. Good luck with whatever you go for :)

Hi APACHE

You are a bit short of numbers in the tyre description 215 -- 14 then 112 110 which is the load rating, the numbers you need in the middle will be 70 or 75, the first three have to be right for it to fit as this is the width and diameter, the load rating needs to be the same or higher.

If the tyre dealer you went to couldn't advise you, find another tyre dealer.

It might not necessarily have a profile & just be
215 x14 . Mine have no profile & so are harder to obtain.

Maybe @Brian and Jo can help as they own a tyre depot and very helpful

OK good point thanks for keeping me right and apologies to the OP, so does that mean that they are a default 80 profile actually, that would make sense on 14 inch rims.

Put "EFFY" in for her MOT today knowing that one tyre should need replacing but fearing it could be 3. She failed, as was expected , on one tyre and a partly blocked window washer jet!! Not bad for a 28 year old.

Try Blackcircles , they will source your preferred tyre then send it to a local garage for fitting ,usually within 15 mile radius . All included in the price which will be be usually very competitive . Hope this helps

I normally use Black Circles or Tyre Shopper. However, looking for 2 new Michelin Agilis this week (5 year old Nexen rear tyres on van, one is just starting to show cracking between the tread in one place :() I actually found, to my great surprise, that Kwik-Fit online was the cheapest for my size. Fitting at Kwik-Fit or they send a fitting van to you.
