Tyred of the same old Air.... (1 Viewer)

Just took Elle down to get a slow puncture fixed. Asked the mechanic to check out the spare tyre and carrier whilst I was there. Tyre had never been used, was dated 1999! Although there was no actual damage and the tyre had never seen daylight or had had any weight applied, and despite it still holding 69psi (norm is 73), I decided to replace it as the rubber was getting quite hard. As the chap deflated it I asked him to let the air out slowly, I had not long left the army in 99 and the air was good in those days!!
