Went to my local guy to have an extra leisure battery fitted [after my drama on tour recently] & being a total mechanical numpty asked him to check my tyres.
He doesn't do tyres so can trust his view.
Anyway yup, all show signs of cracking so need replacing.
Date code is 1310 so over 6 years old, suggests in itself need replacing.
Current tyres are 'van' ones - Kleber Transpro [???]
Anyway - done my "research", and happy to get proper Camper tyres even though they're a little more expensive.
Best price I've come up with for:
Continental Vanco Camper 215/70R 15 is Blackcircles at £103.50 to be fitted at Towngate Tyres, Market Deeping which I've used for my car tyres.
Kwik Fit have the Michelin Agilis Camping also at £103
So knowing nothing about tyres - being persuaded that proper camping tyres is worth the extra - preference is to go with local tyre fitter business I've used before rather than Kwik Fit
Question - any reasons not to choose the Continental Vanco?
Thanks
Stephen
