I know I'm a bit sad but I like to label up the wheel arches with tyre pressure labels so it's easier to keep tyre pressure in check. Got the manual out (Fiat Ducato 2011/Carado A366) and it states 2 pressure settings depending standard tyres or camping tyres. I've never of camping tyres so I thought I'd better check. The pressures are written as follows,

Standard tyres: 215/70R 15C (109/107)Q
Front 4.25
Rear 4.5

Camping tyres: spec as above
Front 4.75
Rear 5.50

My tyres are Bridgestone Blizzak and no mention of "Camping" so I assume I go with the first settings but as its a large difference I wanted to be sure.

Thanks

Jim

The pressure really depends upon your axle weights and particular tyre. The only way to be sure is to go to a weighbridge and get each axle weighed, then call up the tyre maker, tell them the weights and they'll let you know precisely what you should be running at:thumb:

Hi Ridgeway,
What Jim said, please see my post you will get the idea. Link Removed

Also there is a good download on this site for tyre info

When you have the axle weights email your tyre maker for the correct psi.

I am no expert, but blow out in a healthy tyre ie. no defects is caused by over weight and under deflation, In doubt always opt for the higher pressure There may be a bit of increased tyre wear in the middle of running surface but I rather have that then an unexpected blow out
