Can anyone tell me / calculate the correct tyre pressures for the following please.

Tyres / Wheels: 225/75 R16 CP

Front axle: 1870 kgs.
Rear axle: 2380 kgs.
Overall 4250 kgs

Also who do I approach about a weight upgrade?

Many thanks

Looking at your axle weights and gross weight an update will include higher rated tyres and air suspension.
I assume 'overall' is the MGVW on the vin plate and not arrived at by simply adding the axle weights together.
The current axle weights are at the max for the current setup.
Even with expensive upgrades you may not gain much payload.

For tyre pressures I suggest you email the tyre manufacturer with your tyre size and the axle weights

I did this recently to Falken, and had a reply within 24hrs

Falken Linam R51 215/75 R16C 113/111R
Front axle load 1850 kg 3,8 bar = 55 psi
Rear axle load 2300 kg 4,75 bar (maximum) = 69 psi

Hello @pappajohn . To some extent you are right. I had the van weighed a few days ago the reg is for 4250kg. The actual weight was 2180kg rear 1760kg front and overall 3940kg. The gaslows were full and so was the fuel tank but the 160 ltr (160kg) water tank was nearly empty as was the waste tank. The e-bikes were on board as was most of the heavy stuff such as a large cadac, screen covers, ground sheets, etc. etc. Before we go out again some other item will be added and our personal stuff, clothing, shoes, boots, etc. I asked about the maximum weight as I think that is where it will be fully loaded and we do travel with a full tank in most cases. The van is fitted with VB 4C air suspension so adjusts itself to suit. Any further comments / help would be much appreciated.

If they are Continental, from the info I was given:
Front: you fall between the recommendation of 47psi at 1845kg and 51psi at 1960kg
Rear: between 73psi at 2315kg and 76psi at 2410kg

What load rating are the tyres? Might have missed that but I couldn't see it mentioned.

Our 225/75R16C are 121 at the back and 118 at the front.

As @scotjimland says the only possible way to get correct pressures is to contact the manufacturer of the tyres with the tyre details and your (if possible accurate) axle weights.

The tyres are Michelin.

All you need to do is email michelin-contact@uk.michelin.com with the above information and they will come back to you with the correct pressures. The reply will definitely be within 24 hours, usually a lot sooner.

Thanks for the address Nick. I have sent them an email asking for calculated pressures and a chart if they have one.

If they are Agilis they will say 80 psi but I have found that to harsh a ride now got 4.5 bar front and 5 bar rear seems to give a more comfortable ide. We have a 4250 GVW Hymer

How right you are and so close. I finally got in touch with them and they recommended 80 psi (5.5 bar) rear and 65.25 psi (4.5 bar) front. Carthago recommend 80 psi front and rear but I will probably go with 75 back and 65 front.

They are 1250kg at 80 psi Peter

Mine are currently at 17 degrees cold 67 front 80 rear. I'm about 1980 front fully loaded and 2100 rear but can easy go to 2400 so ride at max pressure

Anything that looks like this is pretty spot on , they come with a multitude of names on.
It agrees exactly with the read outs on my tyre pal

Hi DD, I use an RAC HA223 gauge , had it about 18 months and seems to be consistent with my compressor gauge
