Hi just purchased a tyrepal using the fun discount code, not fitted yet due to constant rain fall but reading other funsters messages sounds like a good purchase.

Top class customer support from Tyrepal, had an intermittent fault on one of new sensors, tried re registering etc so phoned, they suggested a couple of tests which proved a sensor fault. Emailed me a returns form complete with postage paid label to return defective sensor. Once received they emailed me to confirm defect and a new sensor sent out by return post. Well impressed.

Either the older version at the lower price or the newer solar one are both at great prices at the moment even without any additional Funster discount (y) Anything that makes life easier & improves safety is worth that amount of money :)

Mine from Tyrepal today, nearly said paypal, arrived today.N ow to get the correct pressures for front and rear. Have 4 new michellin agilis camping, 225/70r15 cp currently front 60 psi, rear 68. Michellin recommend for 3 500kg citroen relay conversion, front 65.26 and rear 79.7 psi. So a bit more work to do.

Can anyone tell me if any extra kit is needed (apart from two more sensors) to monitor a trailer as well as the van? I'm wondering if the sensor transmit range is adequate.

I believe it depends what kit you originally bought. Most of them are only for 4 or 5 wheels so you will need to have one of the ones that will cope with more.

Just ordered a set ahead of picking up of my Broadway next week, but if you use the promotional code from World of Motor Homes WMUPG01 it takes the price down to £90 - there is another code for trade in which gives you an additional £5 off. Totally legit as it takes you to the Tyrepal site from their site, or simply add the code in the box on the tyrepal site. Valid until the end of next month

While we have a tyre pal thread running I will just mention that if you have twin rear wheels and can't get at the inside tyre valves to fit the sensor and get at it for inflating you can get a tyre pal sensor that fits "inline" with valve extension pipes so you can hide everything behind the trims and just have the valves fixed at the trim.
