My MH has the usual mains supply unit that only partially chargers the battery plus a multistage stage battery charger that I fitted after purchase.

The latter can produce a much higher voltage that the former.

Will there be any trouble if I have them on both at once?

I don't not intend to do so but strange things happen at sea (and in my motorhome!).

dont really know....but i would think the higher output from the multi stage charger may backfeed in to the standard power supply/charger and damage it.

i'd stick with the multi stage and remove the original altogether.

the multi should only output a higher voltage if the current drain/charge rate is over around 2amps....the original may fool the multi into thinking the batteries need boost charging all the time....or possibly the other way round and not getting a boost.
