I am slowly trying to get to grips with Twitter, having finally and belatedly discovered it can be a useful tool for communicating.

At the bottom of a MHF page is a button to share the page on Twitter. I tried this on a thread I started and was able to re-tweet it but the tweet only showed thumbnail pictures and when I clicked on them I was told I needed to be logged in.

Is this as it should be? MHF will come across as unfriendly if it is!

Yes, just an MHF icon is on the Tweet.
And when clicked on, the post opens a Twitter mini browser that members won’t be logged into initially.
Maybe there’s an “open in Safari” type shortcut available but I don’t know off hand. 🤷‍♂️

Sorry I was so late getting back to you but I only saw this thread searching for the “don’t like Twitter” thread.

Yes, sorry about that.
The post is 8yo but the Share to Twitter results are the same.
Maybe Mr. Musk should focus on social media issues rather than sending cars to space. 😡

I was referring to his August/September 22 tour on Fun, a little confusion.
The first 2023 tour starts at the end of this month - to Spain!

I could say this won't be a cheese hunt as previous experience suggests all Spanish cheeses look and taste the same. :) But, I will keep an open mind and look for some interesting cheeses, which I haven't done before. :)
