Hi guys having a shakedown of new to us caravan at bagwell farm for few days got a status 315 aerial but useless any ideas of cheap alternative, and no we are not getting rid of our beloved motorhome, we bought for kids could use the odd weekend lovely site friendly staff thanks steve

I'd check every connection. I've had 3 caravans and each had the outer wire touching the inner core, it only takes one small hair to ruin your reception

tv reception in the valley is not great even without a poor quality aerial. wasnt so bad with analogue but you will struggle with digital. my advice is fit a status caravan aerial on a pole and either clip to ladder or bike rack or you can buy adhesive clips to attach to the wall of the van. then run the wire in a window
