I've just purchased a Cello 12v tv and an Avtex STH3000 aerial. Does the aerial need a 12v power supply if not being used with an Avtex tv? We only have one 12v socket next to the tv bracket. If the aerial does need power, would it be possible to use a two-way 12v socket adapter?

On the avtex tv it's got a powered output to the aerial within the menu when using 230V, however when just using 12V it should have come with a powered amplifier and i use a double 12V socket adapter like you suggest
Check if the Cello has a powered output for the aerial within the menu

I think you'll need to do as you suggest and use a twin adaptor for your 12v socket to plug both the TV and aerial into as your Cello is extremely unlikely to be able to 'feed' power to the aerial on its own.

there is an option to turn on a 5v aerial power feed in the 19" Cello traveller IIRC TV menu - so you can power an avtex sth3000 aeriel. It's at the bottom of the Channel menu ;)
