sparked up the heating last night to make sure it works, started fine and fan kicked kicked in. After a couple of minutes the boiler started to make a loud noise sounded as if there was air in the gas system. Has anyone had similar problem. The boiler is a C3402/C

Motor homing since 1998.
Morning, could be normal operation.
They all do that as they get to their operating temperature.
Once warmed, then cuts back to lower fan speed & noise level.

AS Barry says, this sounds like the normal noise the system makes to heat up everything as fast as possible. In all the vans we have had it sounded like a plane about to take off. It then cuts off after a few minutes and goes back to normal, silent mode. It also does it on ours , though slightly less aggressively, if you turn off the heating when it has been running at full whack.

It's a feature, not a fault.
