Truma warm up delay (1 Viewer)

In my MH Chausson 85 I have a Truma C4002 combined habitation and water heater.
When I switch it on and after a few seconds I hear the igniter click and very very low heat comes from the vents. It is several minutes sometimes ten (seems like forever) before the fans start up and hot air is produced and from then on it all woks fine. Is this normal? Has anyone experienced this?

Yes. 10 minutes appears a bit long and have you timed or is this how long you feel it takes

I've just been and checked it this time 8 and a half minutes sometimes seems longer may be imagination! but is 8 1/2 minutes normal?

Hi just had a look at the operating instructions and quickly glancing through it, it doesn't seem to say how long it takes for the fans to come in.

thanks for all the info folks it looks as if my heater is working ok.
There must be some technical reason why the heater does not fire up within a few seconds, however I am relieved to know that it isn't on the verge of failure!
