On a trip back from italy this year (end of may) we as we always do to avoid tolls took a back route over the alps, having left Pisa with the temp at 30 the last thing we expected was 6 inch of snow to fall in a few hours. Needless to say a park up on the roadside for half a day was required until the snow and traffic cleared,
This is when despite having the van for a few years we discovered that although all the vents were fitted the heater did not have a blower or ducting fitted (the OH went to use the bathroom and was not happy) So to cut a long story, trip to a breakers and a second hand truma with blower and 240v element was purchased and I spent a day fitting it all warmth at last. and the point to this is if anyone needs s truma gas only fire let me know as I have enough I may need it one day parts to last two lifetimes.
