As a newbie only since May we have ,until now never needed to put on the heater. It is very wet here in NI at moment and cold.My wife is due in about 40 minutes. The heater is on (the fan is running). Switch on rh side is set to 1000 and thermostat at 9.Air ,after 15 minutes is stating to become warmer.
How long should it take to reach maximum?Any ways to speed things up ?Running of 240 Help please ?

Run it on gas and electric to boost the heat and then you can click back to 240v only once up to temperature. Electric only can take a while.

You can use the gas as well to boost the temperature (greater power output than electric). Once up to temperature electric only should keep it there.
