13 years since retirement and many younger years as a Hippy in a VW conversion, roaming the Greek Is
The heater is on winter setting and it kicks in fine with lots of sound and a green light. Within seconds it slows down, an orange light appears and everything stops!! Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks

Getting better month by month.
Depends on which system you have, but ensure the vent is not blocked if you have done the basics of checking the gas supply etc.

Same happened to us in our last motorhome. Took it to Johns Cross. Turns out it was overheating - partly because one of the tubes had come slightly out and partly because there was not enough ventilation to the place it was situated.
