My Burstner is fitted with a Truma 6 heater/boiler. I've drained it down during this cold weather but want to put a bit of heat in the MH while I do some work inside. Do I have to have water in the boiler for the heater to work? Or are they completely independent? This is on electric hook up.

Getting better month by month.
If it is the new type combi boiler then you do not need water for heating. Just be careful not to switch to both. I have drained mine and used heating when over in the MH whilst in storage.

The MH is a 2015 model so assume it's the latest type Truma.

Since May 05 (Ex Tuggers).
Even the older Trumatic C 3402 and 6002 do not require the water tank to be filled before using the heating system.

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Thanks everyone. I found reference to this on the Truma website as well, so I can go ahead and get warm.
