Trouble uninstalling - HELP!! (1 Viewer)

A couple of weeks ago I got a message on Mozilla/Firefox suggesting I update. Like a fool I just clicked OK and the result is a whole load of unwanted stuff popping up as you can see from the images!
I have uninstalled a couple of the programs but the others just won't go.
You can see in one of the images that the program has nearly uninstalled but won't go that last bit. Others just ignore the uninstall command.
Has anyone any (sensible) suggestions on how I can rid my laptop of this crp?

Use "Back-up and Restore". Look in Control panel. Resets machine to the settings of an earlier time/date.
A day or even longer.
Worked for me when a downloaded programme changed my settings and browser.

try Revo Uninstaller.. (free version) it's very good and all I use when unistalling

then use CCleaner (free version)

In addition to Jim's suggestions I would run Malwarebytes (https://www.malwarebytes.org/), Superantispyware (http://www.superantispyware.com/) and Adwcleaner (http://www.softpedia.com/get/Antivirus/Removal-Tools/AdwCleaner.shtml).

Also check the Add-ons and Options (including Search Engines) in Firefox Tools (and the equivalent in any other browsers on your machine) to make sure the web pages haven't been added to defaults.

Don't be put off updating Firefox, just make sure you download from the official Mozilla site.

You were had. But thanks for the heads up, I always hit update when they appear, but always as a pop up when firefox or thunderbird is running.

Revo seconded! Finds the stuff other uninstallers don't. Go for the third option and do a deep clean.
