Morning,

So, my fourth Varta battery on my Sprinter Traveliner in 10 years, is flat yet again this morning. Has been tested for current draw and the battery itself. Result according to Europarts is that the battery is 90% healthy and fine. Yet, like all other Varta batteries we have had, they always seem to fail, especially on Sprinters.

So, I could not wait for the booster charge to get some umph into the battery. So dug out my old Trojan TMX27 from the shed that has been sat idle and charged once in 4 years. Connected the jump leads to the sprinter and it fired into life.

I popped the Trojan on my charger and within a few minutes, the charger dropped out as not required.

Now if only it would fit in the bl00dy sprinter.
