gas pressure is low to cooker is this the likely thing is this a diy job

Replace it soonest or it'll catch you out when its totally fails. Its an easy straightforward DIY job. We replaced ours with a Gaslow regulator on a dealers recommendation, slightly more expensive but no history of repeated failures and best of all a 5 year warranty. :thumb:
