My new Chausson on mk8 ford chassis
Ok ere we go any ideas
Problem is warning lights lit on dashboard
1- airbag warning
2- stability warning
The company I bought it from booked me into Ford to sort the problem ( fair enough) ford has had it 3 days & not diagnosed problem yet , OK Friday & week end, so one day really, and on it again tomorrow,
In the meantime Ime trying to think what fault could bring up 2 differing warnings @ once , must be something in common ? Not necessarily 2 faulty bits of kit, water got in somewhere ? Ecu ?
No doubt Ford will find the problem eventually , has anyone had problem of this nature & what did it turn out to be

Perhaps the airbag is unstable?

Both will require the steering wheel sensors to be functional (airbag light for the airbag itself & stability light if no steering angle sensed). I'd check the (so-called) 'clock spring' - which is a coiled ribbon cable in the base of the steering wheel that allows for steering rotation.
