Hi, We are John and Maureen and are a couple of old wrinklies.
We bought our 1st motorhome, or should I say caravanette in 1976 during the heatwave.
We have had them on and off up til 2007 when we bought our 1st new motorhome.
We have the Luner Moonstar. We have had a few things go wrong with it, but that is another story. We get away as often as we can. As soon as we are back from one trip we are looking forward to the next, haha.
I was in the Royal Navy from 1962 untill 1973, I still miss it, and 6 years ago met up with my good pal after not seeing each other for 34 years. The years flew by and the price of Guinness shares and woods rum must have gone up that night haha.
I started working at Vauhalls in Ellesmere Port when I first came out, what a shock to the system.I was there for 12 months then went to work at Bowaters paper mill for 6 years. I then got my HGV Class 1 licence, and that was great, I loved every minute of it, but was forced to retire early through ill health. I also miss that as well.
I think this is enough for now...speak soon...
