We're going to be towing a large box-van trailer through Europe in September. We'll have our motorcycles and kit inside, so we can have the comfort and convenience of the Motorhome and also the fun and ease of the bikes in the Alpes etc.

Can anyone recommend a decent trailer insurance company?

Since 2005
try the NFU (national farmers union)

they insure anything from a £100 bicycle to a £150,000 combined harvester.
thier motor policies cover 'none goods' trailers for £1000 as part of the policy

but, you will also need 'goods in transit' insurance as well 'cos only the trailer will be insured...not the contents.

Hi, as we Insure our van with Saga they Insure the Smart trailer on the same policy, I think it was about £19 for the year and that also covers unattached here and abroad, and although I put a hitch lock on it and a wheel clamp sometimes...... There is nothing on the policy saying lock it up.::bigsmile: Bob.
