Easy lifter

http://www.easylifter.co.uk/hydra-trail.htm

I have one of these, its a good piece of kit. Look it up on the web there are good and bad reviews and opinions are divided.

But ours and a friends have both behaved well. My friend has towed his all over Europe and had no problems.

On the same subject really, i have a hydraulic Easylifter, but was thinking of selling this to get an actual towing trailer, but from reading this thread there is a lot in favour of the bogey wheel Easylifter as opposed to a bike trailer, is that right? I have a GTS 125, but want to be able to also take 2 bycycles on an external rack (garage gets filled with all kinds of stuff).

I have a bike rack on the rear of the motorhome and carry one bike. My friend carries two on his.
On the Easylifter hydratrail I have a 165kg vespa scooter.
The two have not hit each other yet (y)

I too have the Easylifter which carries a Peugeot Kisbee 100cc 97kg Scooter. We always used two electric bikes before getting the trailer but now have 2 x foldable Dahon Vitesse 8 bikes which store very easily in overhead cab. We still have our Electric bikes and still sometimes take them instead of scooter.

Mike, was your friend in Morocco ? I spotted one whilst viewing 'Camper Van Culture' blog/video.

Sounds like you need to be a member of the forum to "start a conversation" :(

But on a good note it would probably be the best £10 you will ever spend.

Lots of good advice and friendly people with lots of Funsters in Portugal at the moment. (y):D

I Have a hydratrail easylifter for sale. I bought it of wiljoy before Christmas but I can not get my pushbikes on the cycle rack with this fitted. That is the only reason I am selling it. P.M.me if anybody is interested.

If you want a trailer consider a Phoenix I've had one for years probably the best trailer I've owned, really well made. Was selling it to a mate but he never used it so recently had it back off him, carry my dirt bike on it now, its just so solid all galvanised and tows like a dream. The one I have also folds in the middle for easy storage, a little heavy but real quality.
