Towing In Europe (1 Viewer)

Hi... Forum Newbies here.. is there still a problem towing a car with an A Frame? or has the law changed/been ratified.... so can we now enjoy our towing frame....?

We have a Smart car with frame which we tow in the uk and would love to visit Portugul, France & Spain next winter with it...

Illegal in Spain, not sure about Portugal but as you have to drive through Spain to reach it it doesn't matter.

You might get away with it - but folk have been stopped.

Not recommended in Germany.
France is a bit iffy I believe
Spain isn't worth the risk unless you have spare euros and a second driver.
