I had a few minutes today when i couldnt be bothered to work and got thinking about towing.
if a toad is classed as a trailer, even if it doesnt meet all the requirements as such, whilst hitched does this mean there is no requirement for a current MOT, a current TAX DISC or compulsory 3rd PARTY INSURANCE providing you dont unhitch in a public place.
I'm not going into the realms of weather or not its legal. thats already been covered more than once ::bigsmile: just the fact that a trailer doesn't, legally, need these things.

john.

nope.

The vehicle is registered, therefore must be legal

therefore you dont need to dispay the towing vehicles reg number on the toad.

no legal requirement for TRAILERS to be registered in the uk or is it NOT a trailer.
it cant be both a registered vehicle AND a trailer.
