We are looking for a tow bar for a Rapido 996M and would appreciate some advice on the quality, strength and experiences of those offered for sale in the market. Ideally we would like a tow bar fitted to a rear protection bar. Many thanks.

Towbar

I used these guys for mine on Rapido 9048 with ALko chassis. http://www.watling-towbars.co.uk/motorhome_towbars.html they supplied the towbar to my local towbar fitting company who did the fitting. Very helpful, give them a call

I am fairly local to these guys and they have been around for ever. I would be happy to recommend them as well. :thumb::thumb:

I hope your 996 has sufficient payload to put a tow bar on as sure as heck our 971 has not even though we have uprated to 3850Kg

We had a towbar fitted to our Autotrail. Air suspension follows as it grounds out a lot.
