If it's an overnight stop in Calais, the port car park. 18hrs free parking.

These are my reviews of the sites we stayed at last year in Tours. We will definitely stay at Camping Les Acacias again when we are in the area, the other site was let down purely by the terrible toilet facilities so if you don't need them it would be quite a good site.

    Camping Les Acacias
A fabulous little site ideally placed for visiting Tours. The showers were great with bigger than average cubicles which made it easy to keep your clothes dry. There was a great little bar where we had a beer and this is where you collect your bread in the morning if you order any. The pitches were placed around a central field which is used for tents but was relatively empty when we were there leaving a lovely big space for recreation if wanted. We paid €38 for 2 night with EHU in July 2013. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Address: Rue Berthe Morisot - 37700 La Ville-aux-Dames. Tél. : 02.47.44.08.16. GPS: N47°24'7.423, E0°46'40.13

    Camping La Grange Rouge
This was a lovely looking site in a nice setting. The grass pitches were well spaced with plenty of trees enhancing the area and there was a nice little pool fenced off. There was a supermarket within walking distance. The only downside was the disgusting toilet facilities that were in desperate need of a clean. 1 night with EHU and 2 cans of drink cost us €23 in July 2013. Address: Rte Départementale 910, 37250 Montbazon, Tel +33 2 47 26 06 43. GPS: N47°17'24.237, E0°43'5.004

We stayed at Camping Acacia on the way down to Spain at the end of December, reception open until 7pm and take ACSI.
