Touring the baltic states (1 Viewer)

Thinking about Latvia, Lithuania Estonia this summer - has anyone been recently, do they accept wild camping, how bad are the roads? Any problems or special places to go.

With the FCO web site mentioning the problems with crime in Poland we were thinking of going either via Sweden or taking the ferry from Germany to Latvia - anybody tried Poland?

We are also thinking of the Baltic States, using the ferry from Karlshamn in Sweden to Klaipeda, returning via Poland. It's a few years since we drove in Poland but had no bother at all. Things might have changed.
