Me and my eldest lad are off to watch the tour again this year but are pushed for time and we know the Dutch and French get parked up sometimes a week earlier on the popular stages,we have the tunnel booked for wednesday afternoon 20th july hoping to drive down to the foot of the Alpe d'heuz and find an Aire or campsite for the thursday night 21st,watch fridays mountain stage and then over to Grenoble which is only just over an hour away for saturdays time trial then up to Paris for the finish on sunday then home, has anyone any thoughts or sugestions please ?
