We were having a strange discussion the other night! Eventually our beloved Swift Sundance is going to come to the end of her useful life, and we will have to bid her fair well. So we were discussuing (totally hypothetically of course). If money were no object, what we would get as a replacement.
Our rules are simple, must have overcab bed, and must be a coachbuilt, and must be more luxurious than what we have :D. Other than that anything goes.
We had a lot of searching on the internet, and we were quite disappointed. Most offerings seem to be similar to what we already have. So, for a bit of fun, over to you guys, and as I said, biased opinions are totally welcome (probably mandatory) :D What's the best motorhome to upgrade to :D

Hymer A class most have drop down beds we had two coach builts previously and now an Exsis and love it the cab is different but you soon get used to driving it and there is more lounging space(y)(y)(y)(y);)
Blast enough?;)

I love the auto correct, and yes, the bias is good. We did like the look of the interior of the Hymer A-Class, but we couldn't sell the drop down to daughter, she likes overcab :-(

Blasted Auto correct I usually look before pressing the button.
They are massive and comfy and are still quite a way up(y)but I know it's like a den in the overcab isn't it?

Same one as what @Jim has, not sure of the model but it is a Coachmen RV. It would be close to perfect for me. However the Hymer 584 comes a close second.

I have to say, I am tempted by an American RV! :D

Just wondering but why not????
It's a lot of hard work. If I had money I would buy plots of land around Europe and the RV mentioned above and move constantly.

I can build them myself but the thought of project managing someone else doing it sends shivers down my spine. they just wouldn't do it right :p

You're just like me aren't you? Happy at the concept of someone else doing the job, but then not happy that they'll do it properly! :D

That is fine I really don't like stopping anywhere that long.
but remember if we only get entry like other outside countries thats 3 months in any or all.
i worked out i could be away for most of the winter though . bit like normal. but having a bit of land here there even in all eu countries could be very limiting .
mind we shall have to wait and see .

well really its far better to build your own in a truck. . you can end up with a far better constructed conversion than a bought plastic fantastic . as it is they are over priced poorly built junk. you can have nice bit bigger shower proper cooker with oven . sensible instantaneous water heaters . catalytic heaters or something nicer if you like .
is that biased enough for you . hee hee
mind you could have a mini artic and have real luxury.
save on tax . insurance etc .
course i,m not biased. hee hee

"Must have overcab bed", "must be coachbuilt" no wonder your searches were bringing up similar to what you have already. Dont know why you have limited it to coachbuilt really, BUT if you must you could try Concorde Cruiser on the IVECO Daily or even a Merc or MAN if you have the +7.5 ton on your license.
