Don't put your walkie talkie radio in your coat pocket while you empty the toilet cassette. It might fall out of your pocket and down the long drop into the sewer.
Yes.
It did.

Emptying toilet cassette? Keep mouth shut.

Wind satellite dish down before driving off.

Disconnect EHU cable before driving off (not me, someone else we once saw).

Close your roof light before driving under trees. Make sure the hab door is shut. Make sure the drawer that holds the ehu cable is shut. I could go on. Oh - and if you see a road sign telling you the gap is only 7 feet wide, believe it. ::bigsmile:

Mishaps

Some years ago I witnessed an accident that was a definite calamity a chap was exiting a camp site field quite narrow exit with his brand new caravan and pick up truck 4 x 4 also brand new there was an ornamental rockery at the exit which was about 3 feet high as the truck turned the very sharp bend the caravan mounted the rockery and caught the roof aircon unit on an overhanging tree branch the chap did not realise what had happened and put his foot down crunching the roof unit into the caravan and causing the roof to open up I was just too far away to stop it happening boy that was an experience

When dumping a large capacity black tank on an RV , be very cautious, open slowly.. the flow may be too much for the drain to handle..

My niece and her boyfriend bought a brand new, big twin axle caravan this year.

During some renovations on their house, he decided to move the caravan by tying the rear grab handles to the back of the digger he was using.
He ripped the caravan's end cap right off :Eeek:

The two-month old van had to go back to the factory for repairs and he still won't tell anyone how much it cost.
We've had hours of fun taking the mickey, of course... ::bigsmile:
