Last Friday we visited the seafront aire at Dieppe and was amazed at the transformation. New tarmac with about fifty marked bays, a borne that two vans can be serviced at the same time and electric points. What a remarkable change from the old scruffy, bumpy van park that was there before. We didn't go to the harbour side aire but if they have done the same there then we'll done Dieppe.

My 2 dogs always knew when I was descending the hill into Dieppe. Cass ( dog) and Freddie ( cat) loved staying on the Aire before the ferry --- sitting on the front seats and dashboard bird watching.

Is it easy to see in the dark, we will be arriving at 1030pm?

The aire is quite well lit, you probably won't get electric as there is only about ten electric points.

Can you park on the dock only we are on the 5.30 am boat john(n)
We often park on the sea front at Dieppe overnight no one seems to bother you. Or you can park in front of the ferry offices right at the port.
A word of warning to everyone I have been via Dieppe a few times this winter and there are now a few illegals hanging around, they sleep at the bottom of the cliffs & can't be seen from the road. The port has now employed to security dog handlers inside the fenced area of the port. Just make sure you check under your van before boarding.
