The view from our MH tonight. Guess where?
Is it Bass Rock?
Could that be Ailsa Craig I see ?
Are you at Cressfield or Culzean Castle?
I'm going for the Ailsa Craig too, possibly viewed from either Girvan, Lendalfoot, or Ballantrae.
Yes it's Ailsa Craig as seen from Girvan. Cannot be Bass Rock Marie that's in the North sea - the sun sets in the West not the east.
Or, Paddy's Mile stone as we called it... and it's up for sale for £1,500,000.. a snip
I did not know where it was, but it certainly is lovely! You are making us jealous  Looking forward to getting going again in September!
Thought it was Steep Holm in the Bristol Channel, viewed from Weston-super-Mare! Shucks. oh:
Your next move Jim? :Rofl1:
It would be my parents next move........if I could afford it........and not because I don't get on with them either. :Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1:
Brilliant! We knew it was Paddy's Mile Stone.......Ailsa Craig:thumb:
We took a boat trip out there from Girvan years ago, it was slightly rough and Bill was a bit "under the weather" shall we say......
From memory that's where the granite comes from that is made into curling stones.
You can't beat the Clyde Coast for beautiful scenery, we would like to move back there in years to come..........just gorgeous!:thumb:
Another lovely evening here in D & G as well, got the mh washed as well today.
Ailsa Craig granite information
Here's the link for the information on the granite from Ailsa Craig:thumb:
best fish and chips are at girvan opposite harbour will be up there next week
Jim, my apologies, I didn't notice that you'd put the link onto your post already........sorry!
Next time I'll put my glasses on before reading posts..........
